weekending the most

It's so great to see the city come alive in warm weather. This weekend was good for riding my bike all over town, barbequing with friends in Bucktown, breakfasting at the Bongo Room, lots of house guests overnight, watching The Science of Sleep at 2 in the morning, working on TPN at Filter in Wicker Park, shooting baskets at Gross Park, eating Mexican food at El Cid's on the patio, dancing at the Hideout until the morning came, kayaking Skokie Lagoons, and taking a quick trip to Michigan.

I took photographs of our good times this weekend on the actionsampler, so you and I will have to wait.

We're really bad at waiting.

And also: though I can't give it a blanket endorsement (Karen R, you should not buy this album), can I just say how fun it was to drive around in a car full of friends listening to Girl Talk with all the windows rolled down?

I'm not sure you can say such. I'll get back with you if I hear differently.

I don't imagine that I mentioned this—to anyone actually—but Susan and I are going to Salida for two days of kayak lessons in June. Look out world of water! We'll be land people no more!
