Spent last night shooting photos for my next CPC assignment with A (fellow photographer) and L (patient, quarter-turned subject). Afterwards we sat out on their enormous picnic table while the sun set. My roommate joined us for wine and strawberries.
I enjoy hanging out in the former candy shop A and L have made home for many, many reasons, not the least of which is that they've given me my own bathroom (complete with toothbrush and towel) for when evening turns to overnight. And there's A's ability to use English in a way that makes me believe in its potential candor and beauty all over again.
But I'm not even sure how to articulate the main reason without bordering on well-trodden sentimentality, so here it is: I love to watch them love each other well.
