I had a beautiful time in Colorado, what with the wonderful friends I got to see, the turning aspen, the time with my writing group, the long walks with mom, and the down time with the family.

But if there was a theme to my trip, I'd have to say it was ice cream, as Maggie and Jonathan prove here.





During the trip, I managed to eat ice cream alone, but also with Brent, Rebecca, Heather, Tracee (on several occasions), Maggie, Molly, David, Jonathan, Todd, Renee, and (nearly) some old-timey Cripple Creek gambler whose first name I didn't manage to catch.
