After a quick detour in South Bend
we spent the weekend in
where we enjoyed the hospitality of la L, the near teas of The Sparrows, Wolfgang's 'rolls, Graydon's long list of ales, the Fulton Street Market's baby herbs, M. Catrib's finest chocolate pudding, the sunshine and bocce at Reed Lake, and lots of down—er, working—time, too.
[breakfast @ Wealthy Street Bakery]
[merciless boggling]
[chocolate mint, lemon verbena, and pineapple sage from the farmer's market]
[in L's sunroom]
[Miss Violet being have]
[more from the sunroom]
[MRA about his Colonial business]
[The Bungalow Mystery moments before it became mine]
[A and her mother]
While solo, I squeezed in a Nancy Drew novel, a business lunch, and some good time with my friend A who flies to Alaska for the summer in a few hours. Already missing!
